Solid performer after a week in the field

I spent some time with this shirt in a warm climate. The torso cotton is thick but cools nicely once it has a little moisture on it. The polycotton blend on the reinforced sections allows the shirt to cool via evaporation in a 30C-50C hot sunny climate. As a result the garment is not too hot in the sun.

Even on hot days close to 40C in the bush, I simply poured or sprayed water onto the shirt and it avoided becoming sticky or uncomfortable.

The stitching is neat and there are double or triple stitches in key areas. So after hard use, there is very little if any wear.

The arm fabric is slightly water resistant, which makes rain droplets fall off it, rather than soak up immediately.

The overall cut is generous and comfortable. The arm and torso length are just right. The pockets are strong and large enough to hold a small radio, a battery pack, a torch or a phone. Even a large form factor phone will fit.

The pocket velcro is strong and high quality. This applies to the cuffs as well where there were adequate, but not excessive straps to tie down the sleeves with velcro.

After several days of use, the shirt did not develop any noticeable odor. It did not discolor, shrink or lose integrity. If you had to, you could wear this shirt for a week or two without excessive discomfort.

Overall it is on par with a name branded product and well worth the money.
